Ed Levin Park - Milpitas:

Ed Levin County Park is located in the foothills of Milpitas. Coming from 237, 680 or 880, take Calaveras Blvd. East, then Calveras road as it begins up the hill. Turn left on Downing Road and follow the golf course into the park (stay to the right at the fork in the road). The entry fee at the ranger station is $4. After you pass the ranger station bear to the left and continue up the hill, past the first parking lot, past the small lake, and then right into the large parking lot. Most people park here and either gather for rides or walk to the landing zone ahead.

Mission Peak - Fremont:

Mission Peak preserve is located in Fremont. Coming from 680 or 880 exit on Mission Blvd East (if coming from the north on 680, make sure you take the 2nd Mission Blvd exit for east. Once on Mission, turn right on Stanford Avenue (the 3rd right after 880). Stanford Avenue dead ends at the Mission Preserve parking lot.

Elk Mountain - East of Ukiah

From San Francisco, take 101 N past Ukiah, then take 20 E to Upper Lake. In Upper Lake, turn left onto the main drag, which will eventually end up being Elk Mountain Road. Keep going to Middle Creek Campground on the right. That's the campsite and main LZ.
